Leading South Indian Developer to Launch Villa Project in Chennai [13th July 2010,indianrealtynews.com]

 

SSPDL, a leading property developer in south India has announced the launch of a premium villa project - Lakewood Enclave at Thalambur on Old Mahabalipuram Road (OMR), Chennai’s IT Corridor. The project is located behind the Sipcot IT Park at Siruseri.

Spread over 3.89 acres, the gated community project will offer 28 villas. The project will have a plethora of amenities to ensure a comfortable living for the residents. There is, for instance, a clubhouse with a swimming pool, a modern gymnasium and indoor games, besides modern security, 100 per cent power backup and a convenience store.

“Lakewood Enclave is a perfect place for people who want to live in large, well-appointed independent homes with all comforts and conveniences of a gated community. It offers space, privacy, ambience and all facilities for a comfortable living,” says Prakash Challa, managing director, SSPDL. To be constructed under the Balinese style of architecture, the premium villas will have Holland style fencing. Each villa will have a built-up space of around 2,500 sq ft, which includes facility to park two cars. These vaastu-compliant homes will have a central courtyard and civilities with premium specifications.

According to Challa, the work on the project has already started and the villas will be handed over to residents by December 2011. “Each villa, which has a built-up space of 2,512 sq ft, will also come with one ground (2,400 sq ft) of land and the total cost will come around Rs 1.4 crore per unit,” Challa pointed out.

He said the company was targeting mid-managers of IT companies as investors for this premium villa project. “Since announcement, we have got a very good response for the project,” said Challa.
